Design
In terms of design, the Lenovo ThinkPad T495 perfectly aligns with the Lenovo designs trend of its ThinkPad series. Thatis, it is sleek, slim, and portable.
Similarly, the Lenovo ThinkPad T495 is made of sturdy metal lid and bottom chassis, hence, promising light weight and durability.
The lid house the 14-inch display with finely textured plastic bezels around it. Unlike the sides bezel, the top and bottom bezel are thicker.
The top bezel host the 720p HD web camera which has ThinkShutter privacy lid cover which sits next to the webcam at the top of the device.
Similarly, Lenovo ThinkPad T495 has two hinge constructed of a zinc alloy with powdered-metal technology which held the lid perfectly to the chassis.
Lenovo ThinkPad T495 bottom chassis house the keyboard, touchpad, Trackpad, a Match-on-Chip touch fingerprint reader and other components.
Furthermore, the chassis is thick enough to accommodate two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C ports, USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A, on the left side, and HDMI, headphone jack and microSD card reader.
On the right similarly is the Kensington lock, a gigabit RJ-45, ventilation grill, USB 3.1 and a smart card reader.

Lenovo ThinkPad T495 comes with up to four display options. All options however has 14-inch screen size with different panel and display featrures.
The base model flaunts an HD display with TN antiglare display panel and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel coupled with 250 nit brightness capacity.
Similarly, the Lenovo ThinkPad T495 remaining three display option comes with a FHD display with IPS panel and a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
However, one of this three options features a touch screen panel with 300 nit brightness capacity.
Likewise, there is an option with Low power panel thatis, you can be prepared for a fast battery draining display. However, it offers 400 nits brightness capacity.
