Alcatel 1C 2019 was released alongside the Alcatel 1x 2019 at the ongoing CES as a cheap entry-level smartphone, coming in at just under $99. The device packs a 5-inch display with Fullview, Two cameras; one at the front and one at the back, both with LED flash and runs Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box. ALCATEL 1C 2019 Design And Display
The body of the Alcatel 1c 2019 has been fitted with a non-slip texture which makes it comfortable to hold. It is also fingerprint resistant so there is that. Talking about fingerprint, there is non here. At the back of the device is a single camera at the top centre accompanied by an LED flash and then down below is the Alcatel Logo.
The 5-inch IPS LCD screen comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a pixel per inch of 215. On top of the screen is Front facing camera with yet another LED flash. Colour options for this device are Enamel Blue, Blush Pink and Volcano Black. It also weighs 148 grams and measures 10mm in thickness.

On this device is a total of two cameras; one on each side. The rear facing camera is a 5MP(Interpolated to 8MP) shooter with f/2.4 equipped with an LED flash for low light shots. It can record 720p videos at a maximum of 30fps. It also features HDR, Panorama, EIS and Night Mode. The front facing camera is a 2MP (Interpolated to 5MP) shooter with f/2.4 aperture, a LED flash and face beautification. It is also capable of 720p video recording at 30fps.
ALCATEL 1C 2019 Hardware and Software
Alcatel 1c 2019 ditches both MediaTek and Snapdragon for Spreadtrum; it utilises the Spreadtrum SC7731E Chipset which is a four-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. There is 1GB of RAM on board and 8GB of Internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a MicroSD slot. Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) runs on this device out of the box.
Battery & Network Connectivity
A small 2,000mAh battery powers this device here which should be enough. As expected, there is no fast charging or 4G LTE connectivity here. However, there is WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, micro USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm jack.

The device is set to have a starting price of about $99 when it comes out which will be sometime within the first quarter of 2019.
